First-party aggregate counts record tool visits and completions, first completion per page session, author-card displays/clicks, Amazon clicks, pass-dialog opens, language choices and helpful/not-helpful ratings. No analytics cookies, visitor IDs, IP addresses, emails or message text are stored in these counts. Reloads can count again. Counts are pruned after 35 days during scheduled or active-service cleanup. Purchase totals use the existing verified payment ledger. Hosting providers may maintain their own operational logs.
Optional feedback text is sent only when you press Send feedback and pruned from SeaMate’s database after 30 days during scheduled or active-service cleanup, alongside the tool and time. Ratings are anonymous aggregate counts. Do not include personal details.
Your profile, saved CV draft and versions, interview answers and feedback, joining plan, packing checklist, learning progress, course planner and author-card dismissal preference are stored in this browser. Lessons and local practice do not send your planner to the AI service. Messages and your preparation profile are sent to OpenAI to generate replies. AI review sends your CV text; packing plans send selected items and favourites. Research questions may use web search.
SeaMate does not save chat history in its database. OpenAI and hosting providers may process or retain service data under their policies. Avoid sharing confidential ship documents, passport numbers, bank details or medical records.
Google sign-in stores your verified email, account ID and a secure session. Paid purchases store order and payment IDs, plan, amount, status and expiry. Card details are handled by Razorpay, not stored by SeaMate. We save daily request counts and helpful/not-helpful totals, without message text. Clearing local drafts does not delete provider records or reset service capacity.
Clearing your browser or site data removes local drafts and progress. Back up regularly. Backups may contain your CV contact details: keep the file private. Your unsent chat draft is saved locally for connection recovery and is cleared after a successful reply.
